There is no specific timeframe for the availability of backordered titles. Some items return to inventory in a matter of days, but many can take several weeks; this is contingent upon the length of time it takes the publisher to make the books available to our distributors. Unfortunately we are not able to give release dates on individual titles.

Backorders will remain active for up to four months. If the title is not made available in that time, the order will be cancelled, and we'll notify you via email of the cancellation. When you receive the email announcement, you will have the opportunity to place the item on backorder again if you wish.
